So I couldn’t sleep the other night, and even though it was raining I decided to head out and play. I walked down Center Street in Provo until I was completely drenched… and then just turned around and on my way back I saw this guy on the other side of the street. I waited until he was in the light of the freeway overpass and then snapped this shot.
I wonder why he was out so late – he didn’t have a camera.
hmm.
This is an amazing shot. And I like your title. You didn’t get cute or pick “lonely” and enter a judgment on this solitary figure. You just called it Alone. Perfect.
Down town Provo is pretty shady at night. I’m happy to hear you made it out safely.
Amazing shot. I love to see the world through the lens of your camera. You have a way of making it look…perfect.
Thanks Wendy, I can be cheesy with some titles… but alone just fit better.
And I don’t know about “perfect” but I appreciate the wonderful comments!
Thanks for coming by!
Powerful image. Love how the subjuct is moving “through” the frame – onward to his destination.
D700 shot?
Wow – just read that you took this with the little (and spunky) Nikon D40. Great job!
Hey thanks for coming by Sara! Yea, I like to take out my old D40 when the weather turns… until I get something with a little more weather proofing on it, I leave my D90 inside when it rains.
Hi Jeremy – very nice work, looks like things are running smoothly on your new site. Keep in touch if you discover some new features on Vigilence.
Doug.
