This is how the backyard looked before – not much room with some fallen trees and a gradual slope down to the river.

So we decided to put in a rock wall to hopefully get some of that area back… I think it turned out great!

We were even able to add some stairs that go right down to the river.

      Hey thanks Vanou… and I would love to come up to Canada… but you probably couldn’t get my fishing pole or camera out of my hands long enough to do any work. :-)

    Wow. That is really cool. When you said “rock wall” I was envisioning, you know, like a rock-climbing wall, and I was all, “wow, that’s cool.” But this is pretty awesome. Super jealous that you have a creek in your backyard. Are you in SLC? And where in SLC?

    The back of your house looks like it will be great, how about a picture of the front part.
